The Middle East edition of THINC (Tourism Hotel Investment & Networking Conference) emerged as a beacon of innovation and collaboration in the region’s hospitality sector. Nestled amidst the cosmopolitan charm of Dubai, the inaugural Middle East edition of this hospitality conference marked a momentous expansion for Hotelivate and its celebrated conferences.

THINC ME was held on 12th and 13th February, 2025, with a focus on investment and hospitality. Gathering owners, industry leaders, policymakers, and investors, the conference aimed to explore new opportunities and strategies to boost tourism and hospitality in the region. The Hotel Investment Conference-South Asia (HICSA), since its inaugural edition in 2005, has been an unequalled gathering platform for the hospitality industry the world over. The 4th Edition of this conference is set to take place this year. The pandemic as well as other restrictions on international travel as well as Sri Lanka’s political situation made it impossible for the conference to continue. While the conference took a hiatus post 2019, this year we are excited to bring back THINC Sri Lanka in a new avatar – a combined edition – THINC Sri Lanka and Maldives. Recognizing the evolving landscape and the need for adaptation, a combined edition encompassing both Sri Lanka and the Maldives has been created for strategic fusion. “THINC Sri Lanka and Maldives,” not only expands the scope of the conference but also underscores the interconnectedness and synergies between these two dynamic regions.

For the year 2017, the conference brought together close to 170 delegates, representing hotel companies and operations, banks and financial institutions, consulting firms, ownership and development, as well as architecture and design from across 14 nations. The 2019 event provided accurate and relevant content through a captivating lineup of keynote addresses and panels by industry leaders, featuring a stellar line-up of speakers.
