HOSI 2020 | 11 September 2020
Hotel Operations Summit India (HOSI) will be hosted virtually this year. The 8th edition of this much-valued industry event shall take place on 11th September 2020. HOSI has long been a dedicated forum for hospitality professionals to exchange ideas, debate issues, discuss challenges, and consume insights from the best and brightest of the industry. Sectoral trends, evolving market dynamics, operations-related matters, industry nuances, and best practices get enthusiastically deliberated at the event.
With the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, the hotels & related industries have been faced with one of the toughest challenges in living memory. The conference’s focus will be on strengthening the diaspora of speakers by inviting thought leaders from businesses that are intricately involved with the hospitality industry and we aim to bring forth innovative deliberation and discussion on a wide array of matters that are pertinent and crucial for the sector’s much-awaited rebound.
This year’s virtual conference program encompasses a series of keynote addresses, a select few live sessions hosted at ISH (Indian School of Hospitality) by distinguished speakers, and an assemblage of thought-provoking discussions. Unlike other recent webinars you may have attended, HOSI promises to be solutions focused. The virtual platform is purposed for you to have one-on-one meetings with other attendees and peers through chat & video, gaining virtual insights into the best operational practices as we prepare to exit Covid-19 in India.
Keeping in mind our theme being “back to school” we will also try and provide some interactive sessions with the kitchen at ISH coming into play. The HOSI organizing committee is looking forward to welcoming you to the 8th Edition of HOSI a virtual conference.
HICSA 2020 | 4 – 5 November 2020
In its 16th year now, HICSA has become indisputably known as the premier hospitality event in the South Asian Region. Valued for its content-rich sessions and excellent networking, the Hotel Investment Conference – South Asia (HICSA) is an unequaled gathering place for hospitality industry top brands, hotel owners, bankers, developers and professional advisors from around the globe. HICSA 2020 was originally scheduled for April 3rd – 4th but had to be postponed due to Covid-19.
We understand that with social distancing norms in place the conference will be a great insight as to how the MICE world will need to adapt in the short to medium term in hospitality and believe at least two-thirds of the normal number of delegates will be able to attend the conference in person with the other half and possibly many more attending the event virtually. The HICSA team is currently working on these logistics and therefore HICSA has been tentatively postponed and scheduled to be held on 4th and 5th November, 2020. We have, however, also kept 24th and 25th of February 2021 as the back-up dates in case it wasn’t possible to host the conference in November 2020. The final decision on the actual dates for the conference will be taken by the 1st week of September.
We have also decided to shift the 16th HICSA to Delhi on the request of many of our supporters and the venue for the conference now will be Andaz Delhi, Aerocity.Notable speakers confirmed to the original HICSA 2020 dates included Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, SpiceJet, Christopher J Nasseta, President and CEO, Hilton, Dimitris Manikis, President and MD – EMEA, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Federico J González, President and CEO, Radisson Hospitality AB, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO, IHCL, Radha Arora, President, Rosewood Hotel Group and Marc Steinmeyer, Founder, Tauzia hotels, to name a few.
The HICSA organizing committee thanks its speakers, sponsors, supporters and delegates for their continued support and patience. We hope you all are keeping safe at home.
